About "Carrell's Corner"

These short commentaries are from Carrell's Corner, a two volume work published in 1988 and 1994. The author has for many years written a weekly article for the bulletin of the Fishinger and Kenny Roads Church under the by-line Carrell's Corner. Each volume contained a hundred selected articles previously published in the bulletin. They were chosen for their applicability to devotional reading or for use by others wishing to reprint them in their church bulletins. The reader is at liberty to use the material in whatever way may glorify our Lord.

About Gene Carrell

The author, Gene M. Carrell, was born in Bloomington, Indiana and has preached the gospel of Christ for the last fifty years plus. He holds the B.A. degree from Abiliene Christian University and the M.S. degree from Butler University. As of 1994 he had spent twenty-seven years preaching for the Fishinger and Kenny Roads Church of Christ, Columbus, Ohio, where he also served as an elder. He retired from full-time preaching at the close of 1994. He continues to hold gospel meetings around the country.
